Volunteers Needed!
C4DISC DEIA Community of Practice
C4DISC is seeking volunteers to help manage our Community of Practice, a virtual space for connecting and peer learning around DEIA in scholarly communications – for those with a dedicated DEIA role or with a DEIA remit as part of their role, whether in a paid or volunteer capacity. The Community is a year old and we would like to augment the current planning committee so tasks can be shared. Many hands make light work!
Working group members are responsible for chairing the virtual discussions, soliciting conversation topics from participants, planning and facilitating the virtual discussions, and creating notes summarising discussions. We estimate the time commitment as a maximum of 2 hours per month.

Volunteers for standing working groups serve a two-year term. Any person interested in furthering the work of C4DISC can join a working group. You do not have to be employed by a member or partner organization to get involved.
