Reaffirmation of commitment to the C4DISC Joint Statement of Principles

The C4DISC Joint Statement of Principles underpin the Coalition’s mission, vision and values.

Mission: Work with organizations and individuals to build equity, inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in scholarly communications.

Vision: A socially just community that welcomes, values, and celebrates all who seek to contribute to scholarly communications.

Values
C4DISC values include:
Respect: value differences and welcome diverse perspectives
Listen: learn from different communities and make space for marginalized voices
Act: eliminate barriers and be an ally

Several years after the launch of C4DISC, in a challenging political climate, we are encouraged to see reaffirmations of commitment to our Joint Statement of Principles by some of our members and partners. We invite all members, partners and adoptees to share their statements of commitment which we will include on this page. We also encourage you to share examples of practical work you are doing within your organizations that we may be able to showcase to assist and support others.

Please contact us with a link to your statement and a few words about why you are making this commitment to c4disc.communications@gmail.com.
