CFP — Special Issue On Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, And Accessibility In Policies And Practices In Scholarly Publishing

The Journal of Scholarly Publishing welcomes submissions for a special issue on diversity, equity, inclusivity and accessibility in policies and practices in scholarly publishing.

In both the political life of everyday experience and shifts in partisan politics and divergent perceptions of social justice, equity and respect for all persons, scholarly publishing is not immune from the impact of issues of diversity, equity and inclusivity in the production and dissemination of scholarly research in journals and books. Many publishers are focused on what the larger societal dynamics mean for academic publishing. At the same time, there is an increase in scholarship that positions diversity, equity, inclusivity and accessibility as opportunities to strengthen and expand scholarly publishing.
