Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff recently stated that his company had adjusted employees’ salaries to eliminate gender pay gaps. He also said that the software company will again have to adjust compensation because of Salesforce’s recent acquisition of a number of companies. Salesforce achieved this by studying compensation by job function, level, and location. The pay adjustments affected 6% of the company’s 17,000 salaries Even while making these changes, Salesforce admits that it will continue to be an ongoing process into the future for growing companies.
