Jabil (NYSE: JBL), the Tampa Bay Lightning and the University of South Florida Muma College of Business are offering a free, seven-week certification program to teach business owners ways to implement a model that creates a more diverse workplace. The deadline to apply for this free program is March 24. It consists of seven two-hour modules, aired live on Wednesdays from 5-7 p.m. ET (but participants have two weeks to view the recorded session).
The course will teach participants how growing a workforce with different races, genders, religions, sexual orientations and more can help not only the community at large but the company itself. The program is “well-suited” for C-suite leaders and human resource professionals, according to course leaders, but anyone interested can participate. Those who complete the program will get a digital certificate and a badge that can be displayed on LinkedIn.
